The truth is that the powerful
They have one goal you see
They will work to stay on top
and they will fight for their money
But they must unite in one thing
And it seems so clear to me
That it’s you they use to prop them up
Their status quo army
Yeah they tap into your morals
and they try to make you mad
They paint a world where you feel like
you are under attack,
then they mobilize you to shield them from
the growing poverty
and make you think poor people
are your enemy
It breaks my heart to see it but
I guess all angels fall
and the ones I thought were salt
